On the nose there are appealing berry and savoury characters whilst the mouth is packed with rich, robust fruit. The style is vigorous, almost rustic, with ripe cherries, blackcurrants and green pepper predominant. The tannins are gentle but supportive and the outcome entirely satisfactory.
